Explaining and examining the educational point of view of Professor Shokohi about the education of educated man

Abstract

Background and Objectives: The current study aims to explain Professor Shokouhi's educational viewpoints on the education of educated people. Methods: To this end, analytical and inferential methods were used to answer the research questions. In this research, reference is made to the works of Professor Shokouhi, which are related to anthropology and education and depict human beings in these works. Findings: From his point of view, the education of an educated person requires the basics of education and training. As an educated person, he focuses on natural, social, and human education. According to Professor Shokouhi, the stages of educating a cultured person start from the nursing stage, then to the discipline stage, and then to teaching him. For each of these stages, he elaborates on specific characteristics and coordinates that should be taken into consideration in the education of an educated person. The findings showed that the ultimate goal of education, in his point of view, is to provide the foundations for the movement and guidance of a person in the direct path of worshiping God. Conclusion: The goal of education is to educate a cultured person who is a believer, pious, responsible about the Creator, helpful and committed to society, and thoughtful, creative, and productive about the natural world.
