Background and Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the attitudes of English language teachers in Zanjan schools towards English textbooks, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and providing suggestions for improving their quality. Methods: The research was quantitative in nature and utilized a structured questionnaire. The statistical population included 22 English teachers with at least one year of experience teaching English textbooks in Zanjan schools. The questionnaire consisted of 29 questions across five main sections (content quality, clarity and transparency, activities and exercises, layout and design, and alignment and consistency). Data were collected through an online survey. Findings: The results indicated that the textbooks performed positively in terms of language level and cultural aspects. However, significant weaknesses were identified in areas such as content, clarity of materials, localization, alignment with other textbooks, and layout and design.Conclusion: The language level of the textbooks was deemed appropriate for most students, and cultural aspects, such as the introduction of prominent figures and national values, were well-addressed.
