By creating complex digital connections between the virtual and physical worlds, the metaverse offers unprecedented opportunities to exploit its advantages over traditional educational platforms. This study explores the ethical issues of integrating the metaverse into educational environments. In this study, important ethical considerations such as privacy concerns, data security threats, the wide digital divide, etc. were addressed. This research has studied the articles related to the topic with a qualitative approach and using a systematic review method. The research findings suggest that while the metaverse has great potential to transform education, maintaining ethical standards and prudently mitigating potential risks is also an important issue. Ethical considerations such as data privacy, security concerns, legal and regulatory issues, digital divide and social inequality, identity and representation, psychological impacts, intellectual property challenges, user harassment, informed consent, and inclusiveness are among the important issues that need to be addressed. By implementing the proposed solutions, educational institutions can harness the full potential of metaverse technology while protecting the interests of all stakeholders.
