The relationship between professional ethics and organizational commitment of Farhangian University professors and educational quality

Abstract

Background and Objectives: The present study was conducted with the aim of relating professional ethics and organizational commitment of professors to the educational quality of Farhangian University. Methods: The research method was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population was a case study of professors and student teachers of Farhangian University of Kermanshah province in the academic year 1402-1403, of which 300 people were selected by simple random sampling. The data collection tools were the questionnaires of professional ethics, organizational commitment and educational quality. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed based on the opinions of experts and their reliability was confirmed by reference to Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data analysis was performed with single-sample T-tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, regression and multiple variance analysis. Findings: In this section the results of data analysis are explained. Related statistical tests and confidence intervals must be introduced and reported comprehensively and in detail. Conclusion: Given that the professional ethics of professors and its components play a significant role in predicting organizational commitment and the educational quality of the university, by promoting professional ethics, university professors consider themselves committed to acting in line with the goals of the organization, and this will lead to improving the quality of education.
